We transport and install modular and portable buildings of every shape, design, size and application.
Modular transport and installation is a demanding business that involves a diverse and talented team of professionals.
There are many critical steps, skills, and special equipment required for the preparation, transportation, and installation of your mobile or manufactured home, modular building, or portable office.
Our goal is to make this as simple for you as possible.
We're a One-Stop-Shop.
We have seen it countless times, and hiring a professional will save you time and money.
Whether you are looking to move a modular building onto a foundation, or a mobile or manufactured home onto temporary or permanent cribbing, we will prepare your building for transport and skillfully move it from one site and onto the next.
This will involve coordinating with municipal and highway authorities for transport permits and sorting out the complicated logistics which may involve site preparations for access, ferries, barges, cranes, et.., Once we have the unit to it’s final destination we will then install the unit(s) at its new location to whatever specification required.
Many considerations should be made and planned for prior to moving your unit. To start preparing your pad with the proper conduits for power, water, and general utilities before you pour the concrete or layout and compact your gravel pad. Additionally the cribbing materials, foundation walls, seismic tie-downs, anchors, underground utilities, and much more. Many of these are predetermined by your municipality.
Modular Transport is a complicated process.
Professional transport involves years of experience, a talented and diverse team of professionals, employing expensive and specialized equipment. Everyone from the field to the office is dedicated to repeated and successful outcomes.
We carry specialized liability and cargo insurance for our industry and can further tailer the amount necessary for a move or a job, depending on your needs. With insurance premium rising and it becoming increasingly more difficult to acquire coverage, we pride ourselves in doing a professional job done safe. We are trying to be the best modular and portable building, mobile and manufactured home hauler and installer in our industry.
Check out this technical transport delivery we did into a very narrow road trailer park and a large manufactured home. Again, the right equipment and the right skillset.
Placing and Installing your building.
Installation often involves preparing a building for transport. If the building is a fabrication of multiple units, it necessitates splitting the units into their intended manufactured dimensions, ensuring each unit is structurally sound to handle the journey.
Safely arriving onsite, the strategic positioning of the unit(s) is crucial for
accurate truck and low-bed positioning or crane-handling pick-up and final
placement. Once the home is installed and levelled on its permanent foundation, structural tie-downs may be utilized. Here a brief video from Kelly Tarnow explaining Step by Step Manufactured Home Installation.
Finally, our team of experienced envelope specialists can help you protect the integrity of your building—keeping the outside out and inside in. There may be times that you would like us to complete skirting, decks, awnings, new siding, new fascia or eavestrough, or even landscaping. We will work seemlessly with our other departments (Developments / Building Sales) to ensure that you are as satisfied.
